Nearly 3 years
Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship?
To learn skills while working in the industry, allowing me to gain better knowledge and hands on experience. This wouldn’t be possible with other options.
What do you like most about working here?
It’s a tidy workshop and friendly atmosphere, meaning you are open to talk if you have any work related problems/questions and people will go out of their way to help out.
What are your future plans?
I’d like to progress my career by doing a HNC which will grant me the knowledge to become a skilled engineer
What advice would you give to people thinking of doing an apprenticeship?
Keep your eyes and ears open and listen to what the experienced engineers have to say. Try and enjoy learning new skills by putting your name in the hat every chance you get for new opportunities to learn.
