Safety hoist rings (also known as swivel lifting eyes or swivel lifting eye bolts) with metric threads, 360-degree swivel and 180-degree pivot. 
Metric safety hoist rings are 200% proof-load tested with a serial number for traceability and a safety factor of 5:1. 
Manufactured from alloy steel and black oxide as standard.  
Loading range from 400kg to 44600kg.

What are hoist rings used for?

A metric swivel hoist ring is a piece of hardware that screws into an object as a lifting point for rigging to connect for lifting and traveling. Similar to the traditional fixed eye bolt but for a 360-degree swivel and 180-degree pivot. This action can accommodate angular lifts unlike the fixed bolt which is heavily compromised. 
Hoist rings are often used for lifting large moulds, work pieces, machinery and plant. When four swivel hoist rings are placed in the corners of a large mould, the mould can be moved safely between operations with the rigging moving to a central lift point.

Hoist Ring Identification: Swivel hoist rings are marked according to ASME B30.26. Subsequently they are stamped or forged with the manufacturers trademark load rating and torque value. 
Each hoist ring is delivered with a Certificate of Conformance referencing the serial number which is also marked on the ring.
