The Boneham Aerospace Story

Our Pedigree

Our work with Aerospace companies began in the early war years. As the geo-political landscape continued to deteriorate, we saw automotive orders replaced by subcontract work for the war effort, with customers including Rolls-Royce, De Havilland and Bristol Aircraft.

We manufactured stainless steel components for the MerlinSpitfire Engine. We made plexiglass cockpits for Spitfire and Lancaster Bombers.And tailplanes for Lancaster Bombers. During this time there was a subsidiary in Mansfield called Boneham Aircraft Components under approval of the AirMinistry.

Today, we continue making standard components for aerospace applications. Our experience in the industry helps us manufacture accurate, efficient and competitive tooling solutions. As well as standard components, we have a dedicated tailored solutions team. This team take on unique requests you may have when standard sizes don’t suit the job. We achieve short lead times by following standardised processes to achieve a custom result.

We remain a restless organisation, always striving for improvement and investing heavily in the future. Holding AS9100D and JOSCAR certification, we follow optimised processes that allow us to manufacture and supply our customers with high quality components.

All Boneham products are manufactured in accordance with our AS9100D processes, with significant onsite inspection and testing facilities. Certification is available and must be requested at the time of ordering. Special labelling and batch numbers can also be requested on certain high-volume products.
