Code: HGS
What are Hi-Torque Hex Drill Bushes?
The Hi-Torque Hex Composite Mould Bush is a location bush or drill bush for use in composite moulds and fixtures. The deep grooves and hexagonal profile allow the bush to be cast-in or moulded in during layup. Once set the flats and grooves substantially resist rotational movement.
Why choose a Hi-Torque Hex Drill Bush?
During de-moulding there are often drilling out operations. Repeated drilling with hand held tools can eventually cause serrated bushes to spin Hi-Torque Composite Bushes will maintain the integrity of the mould tool for a greater length of time. Hexagonal location bushes are also useful where material doesn’t grip the bush enough during some curing processes.
