Metric Headed Drill Bushes or Headed Metric Jig Bushes are dimensionally the same as the plain press fit bushes but feature a head (top-hat or shoulder). The head of the drill bush can be counter bored into jig if a flush finish is still required. The benefit of using a headed bush is that they can cope with great axial forces. Drill bushes can also be used for the accurate alignment of workpieces or composite mould tools, accurately accepting location or alignment pins.
