What are Collar Nuts?
Collar nuts are a one-piece part incorporating a collar which acts as a fixed washer. These are ideal for repetitive use in clamping, fixing and leveling applications.

These clamping nuts provide even and enhanced loading distribution on the work-piece. By having a greater surface area for clamping force to be applied, they are commonly used in machine bed clamping.
